Royal Diamond Construction Corporation

A General Contracting company that proudly served New York’s Westchester County Area

It has been our honor to serve, and earn the loyalty of, our clients and work with many subcontractors during our 30 years of operation.  From our first day to our last, we went above and beyond for our clients and have always been grateful for every project awarded us since we started Royal Diamond Construction in 1993 and incorporated in 2007.

Although I have retired from construction and closed the company, as of December 2023, please don’t hesitate to keep in touch or contact us if you have any questions.  Thank you.

                                                                             Very truly yours,

In response to many calls and emails received:

Why has Evelyn closed Royal Diamond Construction?

Many people were not aware the reason I was turning down so many opportunities to bid projects, especially during 2021 and 2022, was due to the fact that I took on full-time caregiving of my parents since they moved in with us in 2017.   Before they moved in with us, my Dad had been hospitalized with sepsis, which made his dementia worse, and Mom also had health issues that I was not aware of at that time.  Each year became more and more challenging, then trying to keep everyone safe during the covid-19 pandemic, as my parents needs continued to demand more and more of my time and attention.  It was a blessing caring for my Dad and spending his final years with him until he passed away peacefully, at home, in August of 2022.  As my clients know, I will never take on a project that I can’t give 110% so during those challenging years Royal Diamond Construction suffered greatly but managed to stay afloat.  In the past year I discovered how much my health has suffered from the many years of non-stop endless days and the stress of it all.  Since I continue to care for my mother, I needed to make some hard choices.

What are Evelyn and James working at now that Royal Diamond Construction is closed:

James has taken this opportunity to try something new and has been driving for Lyft.  As I continue to care for my Mother while preparing for our daughter’s wedding in the summer of 2024, after closing RDCcorp, I have begun working towards turning my sewing, digitizing, and embroidery hobbies into a business that I can enjoy well into my old age.

Starting in January of 2025
